Gypsophila Repens (Rose) - Baby's Breath is a garden flower that many people intend to plant; however, they find themselves planting flowers with much larger blooms. However, this can often be a mistake and very few flowers bloom as profusely as Baby's Breath. This form of Baby's Breath, Gypsophila Repens, is a perennial variety that is very low growing. At its mature height, it typically only reaches 6 inches when grown from flower seed. Gypsophila, which we are calling Baby's Breath, is used in flower arrangements. The light, airy masses of small white or pink flowers make a good contrast to larger flowers in the garden. You will find this flower in all sorts of arrangements at weddings, funerals, parties, etc. Baby's Breath has papery rose blooms and soft gray-green foliage, it's not too hard on the eyes in garden or container, either! This year give Baby's Breath a try as it is very easy to grow from flower seed. You will be thankful you did it!
